Natalie is an award winning PADI Platinum Course Director who has managed 5 Star Career Development Centre Assava Dive Resort since 2006. Having worked in Egypt, Australia, Grand Cayman, Canada and Thailand, Natalie has had the honour to have certified several thousands of divers. Although the number of people introduced to the underwater world through Assava Dive Resort has grown, Natalie’s focus has remained – quality individualized instruction. Natalie is excited to share her unique experience in the industry as well as her enthusiasm, patience, and knowledge.

Tim, originally from Canada, has been a PADI Course Director for 20 years and has taught in Thailand, Grand Cayman and North America. Tim proudly worked directly for PADI Asia Pacific and PADI America as a Regional Manager, Field Services Director and Examiner. Tim has been able to make connections with industry leaders, dive professionals and PADI dive centres around the world and is excited to share these unique experiences with you. As the co-founder of Scuba Dive Online (partnered services for online Pro training through Assava) and part of the Pro Team at Assava Diving Resorts, his knowledge of PADI systems and diving programs, combined with his passion for the business of diving, will give you an unrivalled diving education.

Heidi is a mermaid at heart who exchanged her desk in the Netherlands for the ocean of Koh Tao in 2019. She works in the Course Director Team at Assava Dive Resort and focuses on both the PADI Divemaster and PADI IDC programs - teaching others about teaching diving. She finds nothing more rewarding than seeing a student evolve into an even better diver. Whether it’s a Discover Scuba Diver jumping in the ocean for the first time or an Open Water Scuba Instructor on their way to becoming a Master Scuba Diver Instructor, she is there to guide them along the way! On the very rare occasion when she is not breathing from a cylinder, you’ll find her teaching PADI Mermaid Instructors and PADI Go Pro Instructors.
