The New Revised PADI Discover Scuba Diving program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Instructor in ideal conditions, such as those found at a resort. During your adventure, you’ll master some basic concepts and scuba skills before heading off on an open water dive. To participate in the Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. Dive Today!

You can even start the DSD course even before you arrive here on Koh Tao by pre-registering your details on the PADI website. This way we will already have your paperwork completed and you can start your PADI DSD Course right away. If not, we start you once you arrive at the Dive Centre.
Discover Scuba Diving Students get comfortable at shallow depths in the Open Water (Max depth 12m)
Course Schedule
Start 9.00 am with paperwork and theory then pool session for skills : mask clearing, regulator clearing and learning how to share air with your buddy. You will also learn how to control movement underwater using bouyancy control with the BCD, breathing techniques and fin kicks.
Then 12.30 noon time - we head out on the dive boat for your first dive to a maximum depth of 12m.
If you would like to have another DSD dive after your initial dive, then the cost is 1,000 Thai Baht. Please note that dive times are subject to change depending on dive site and weather permitting.
