P.A.D.I. Professional Association of Diving Instructors is always evolving in the diving industry providing up-to-date diving practices and materials to help further develop individual diving skills, environmental awareness and diver safety.
The new Revised P.A.D.I. Open Water Course focuses on beginner divers learning the importance of a buddy system, gas consumption, equipment knowledge and environmental awareness. The P.A.D.I. program is designed to enable flexibility based on individual learning and also the time you may have to spend on your holidays to completethe course.
On all of our programs we provide small groups with a maximum of four (4) students to instructor and all materials can be provided to you in the preferred language.
At Assava Dive Resort we offer a few options for you to complete the P.A.D.I Open Water Course according to your individual needs and budget.
Basic Dive Package: 11,000 Thai Baht
To save classroom time we can send to you in advance the P.A.D.I video and materials so that you can begin the training prior to arrival on the island, and save classroom time. Although we can still arrange to conduct the full program in class if you arrive and haven't had the chance to complete the theory or videos before coming to Koh Tao.
DAY 1
Orientation, Paperwork and confined pool session for skills
DAY 2
Review of knowledge development and quizzes and 2 x open water dives to a maximum depth of 12m
Day 3/strong>
Completion of theory , quizzes and final exam and 2 x open water dives to 18m
Standard Dive Package 1 - Shared Dorm Room : 11,600 Thai Baht
Includes the P.A.D.I. online e-book with final certification and equipment provided during the training. Included in this package we provide 3 nights accommodation in our 4 -bed, air con and hotwater Dormitory Rooms. Located in pristine garden premises and within walking distance to the beach with access to the resort swimming pool.

Standard Dive Package 2 - Private Room Cold Water/Fan : 12,800 Thai Baht
Includes the P.A.D.I. online e-book with final certification and equipment provided during the training. Included in this package we provide 3 nights accommodation in our Standard Rooms cold water and fan, private double bed bungalow with pool view.
*Breakfast is not included.
Superior Room Dive Package 3 - Private Room Warm water/Air-Con : 15,200 Thai Baht
Includes the P.A.D.I. online e-book with final certification and equipment provided during the training. Included in this package we provide 3 nights accommodation in our Superior Room warm water and air-conditioning, private double bed bungalow.
Located in pristine garden premises and within walking distance to the beach with access to the resort swimming pool.

Accommodation options include Dormitory Rooms, Standard Bungalows and Rooms, Triple Rooms & Deluxe Bungalows to suit your budget. Reduced rates on these room options are for the 3 days duration of the course. We can help tailor your course based on your schedule and provide packages on accommodation based on your room choice.
