Once you sign up for the PADI Open Water Course or The PADI Advanced Course, you have the chance to win the E-learning Nitrox Course. This is a 1 day program, online training, quick review and a dive on nitrox.
Very basically the gas in your tank is enriched with a higher blend of oxygen (between 22-40%). The main benefit is that breathing this gas blend underwater allows you to safely extend your bottom time. The course will teach you about the limitations, but ultimately who wouldn’t want to spend more time underwater?!
